Here is a photo post from the Seattle Mobile Food Rodeo that happened during the weekend of May 3rd and 4th. This is our second time here and even though it was POURING that day, we still managed to eat a lot and have lots of fun!
AJ got some Beef Tongue Tacos ($5) – Taco de Lengua – Fork tender braised beef tongue, sweet pickled red cabbage with granny smiths, salsa verde cilantro creme from Nosh and they say it tastes like Brisket but Yummier!
Our next stop was the Waffle Wagon – Lemon Waffle – buttermilk waffle topped with homemade lemon curd and whipped cream ($7). I can still taste it as write this! So good!
Pupusas being made
We saw many people walking with this flower like cut mango with chili on it and we went looking for that! Found it finally and it tasted like the mangoes you get on the roadside in India – chili and salt and lime! So yum!
AJ got the Chicken Sammy (above) from Skillet and I got the Black Bean Tacos (below) from there! Skillet Street always lives up to its name!
Last was a quick stop for these delicious looking mini donuts at Street Donuts!
We had a good time wandering around as the rains stopped after a while. Lil V had some fun too. He loved the fries and the donuts (duh!!) and I think his highlight of the trip was the bubble frog (an automatic bubble machine) at the My Sweet lil Cakes truck! He got so excited and just stood there watching them!
